Build a marketing foundation strong enough to scale on.

Foundation-first digital marketing for small and growing businesses. Measurement and strategy first, then the channels that grow on top of them.

About me

I'm Ben Anderholm, and I've spent more than a decade in digital marketing, from startups landing their first customers to enterprise teams managing significant budgets at scale. Long enough to watch the tools and playbooks change completely, and to learn what doesn’t change underneath them.

The pattern held at every size: the businesses that keep growing aren't the ones spending the most or chasing every new channel. They're the ones built on a foundation that can carry the weight: clean measurement, clear strategy, and the discipline to know what to do first and what to skip.

That's the work I care about most. I started Anderholm Digital to bring that foundation-first approach to small and growing businesses, building or repairing the groundwork that makes growth stick instead of leak, so you can scale in a digital age that never stops changing.

What foundation-first actually means

Most small businesses end up with a scattered marketing setup. Google Ads with no conversion tracking. Blog posts with no keyword strategy. A website with no analytics behind it. Not bad calls on their own. They just got bought one at a time, in whatever order someone sold them. Random acts, random outcomes.

Foundation-first means understanding your business and your market well enough to know what to build, and what has to come first, so effort compounds instead of scattering.

Scattered marketing effort

A little SEO here, a boosted post there — activity with no shared direction, so none of it adds up.

  • A boosted post when things feel slow
  • A new website nobody measures
  • An SEO retainer with no tracking behind it
  • Ads pointed at a form that doesn’t record the lead

Four bills. No way to tell which one worked.

Marketing effort that compounds

One foundation, every channel pointed the same way — each month building on the last.

  1. Tracking that records what a lead is actually worth
  2. One channel, built properly, measured against it
  3. The next thing, chosen because the data pointed at it
  4. Scale what’s working, drop what isn’t

Same budget. Each step tells you what to do next.

It’s not a service you buy. It’s how every service I offer is treated.

02What I offer

Services I offer

Everything below is built in the same order I'd tell you to build it: foundation first, then the channels on top.

Paid advertising

Most ad accounts leak money in places nobody checks. The job is making sure the spend comes back.

I build and run your campaigns across Google, Meta, and wherever else your buyers actually are.

  • Structure: campaigns built around how you make money, not platform defaults
  • Tracking: conversions wired to your CRM so platforms optimize toward revenue, not form fills
  • Targets: CPA and blended CAC set against your actual margin
  • Creative: search, video, display and retargeting, tested at enough volume to call a winner
  • Cleanup: search terms and placements pruned weekly, not quarterly
  • Reporting: what the spend actually caused, not just what it correlated with

Good fit if you're already running ads and can't tell which half is working.

03How we work

A clear path, whatever shape you're in

Every engagement follows the same four steps, and every one starts with a free conversation. Whether you already know exactly what's broken or want a second opinion first, step two meets you where you are.

Every engagement starts with a free call. Step two meets you where you are.

  1. Free discovery call

    Talk

Thirty minutes, plain language, no pitch deck. You tell me where the business is and what's frustrating you about your marketing. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help, and which of the steps below is the right place for you to start.

Thirty minutes, plain language. Tell me where the business is; I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.

I don't ask for access to your accounts on this call, and you won't get homework. Just a straight conversation and a recommended next step.

  2. A real read, or skip straight to the fix

    Look

Before you spend another dollar, it's worth knowing what's actually working, or you can skip the diagnosis if you already know. We settle on the right path together on the call.

    Gut-Check

    $500 · fixed

A focused review of one channel or asset: your Google Ads, your tracking, your website. I record a walkthrough of what I find in your actual account and send it with a one-page summary of where you stand and the two or three things worth doing first. Delivered within a few business days.

One channel, reviewed in your real account. A walkthrough plus a one-page summary of what to do first.

    Full Audit

    Scoped on the call

The whole picture. I review your tracking, strategy, and channels across the board, and hand you a ranked, plain-language diagnosis: what to fix, in what order, and what to skip for now.

The whole picture, ranked into what to fix, in what order.

    Scope a project

Already know what's broken, from a past audit or your own read on things? Skip the diagnosis. Tell me what you need built or fixed on the call, and we'll scope the project directly.

Already know what's broken? Tell me on the call and we'll scope it directly.

Not sure which of these fits? That's what the free call is for: tell me where you're at, and I'll point you to the right one. Every path still starts by making sure the numbers underneath your marketing can be trusted, and a recommendation built on broken tracking isn't worth following, whether it's mine or anyone else's.

  3. A fixed-scope project

    Fix

Whatever the diagnosis found, the fix is a defined project with a clear scope and a clear price: repairing your tracking, rebuilding a campaign, standing up email flows, building pages that convert. Built in the right order, foundation first, always. It's also where you see how I work before committing to anything ongoing.

A defined project with a clear scope and price. Foundation first, always.

  4. Ongoing management

    Run

Once something's built and working, I can keep running it, month to month, one channel at a time. Every channel I manage, I manage end to end: the person who sets the strategy is the person in the account every week. No handoffs, no junior doing the clicks. Start with one channel; add more only when the results say it's time.

Once it's built and working, I keep running it, month to month, one channel at a time.
